Charitable Contributions
The High Holy Days are a
traditional time for giving in support of those in need and to support a strong
community. You may give in many
different forms and your contribution will help not only to defray the costs of
the High Holy Day services, but to ensure a strong, thriving facility. It will
support those who have found a home at Chochmat and the generations yet to
come. Your contribution can be targeted to a specific fund, given in honor of
someone or just given generally. As
always, your contribution to Chochmat, a 501(c)(3) corporation, is
tax-deductible.
Our categories of contribution
include
Building Fund
Garden Fund
General Fund
Israel Food/Medical Contribution
Ritual Fund (includes prayerbooks
and ritual items)
Scholarship Fund (to ensure that
everyone can attend services regardless of financial ability)
Yizkor (Memorial Fund)
Other__________ (you specify)
To make a charitable contribution
by check, please mail your gift to Chochmat HaLev with a note that specifies
how you wish to allocate the contribution, whether it is made in honor of
someone, and to whom to send a thank you note.
To make a charitable contribution
by credit card, please download the High Holy Day Reservation form and complete the section “High Holy Days Tzedakah
Contributions” as well as the billing information.
Volunteering
The High Holy Day Services cannot
happen without the help of our generous volunteers! We are especially in need
of people to help with childcare, hospitality, setting up and breaking down for
services as well as packing and moving.
To volunteer, please down-load the volunteer
form and let us know how you are able to help! |
